Looking for a CSU Manager to perform the duties involved with managing commissioning project. 

The Manager will take lead over the commissioning activities with an integrated team of resident engineers and Sancon staff.  The work will commence in the very near future.  This role will offer 10-12 months of engagement in British Columbia or Toronto and will transition to North of Ontario later in the year.


  • Ability to perform commissioning and start up duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining schedules, planning, and commissioning activities and deliverables
  • Strong understanding and management of commissioning progress reports, creating procedures and commissioning test plans/protocols and coordinates and/or attends.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of project



  • Valid drivers licence and clean drivers abstract
  • 10-15+ years of Commissioning site experience and 5+ years of managing complex commissioning
  • Engineering degree would be considered an asset
  • Project Management training would also be considered an asset
  • Must currently resides and eligible to work in Canada
  • Must speak, read and write fluently in English


The candidate must have experience in many of the following systems or equipment: 

  • Mineral feeders
  • Crushers
  • Conveyor belts
  • Screens and vibrators
  • Sag and Ball mills
  • Cyclones
  • Mining Kilns/Ovens
  • Leaching and Carbon In Pulp (CIP) processes
  • Cyanidation Process
  • Water Treatment Systems


 Decision Making 
Independently make decisions regarding the quality and completeness of the project. Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong Management and leadership skills
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Carry out assigned work in an effective and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated strong written and effective verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills and data management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mining commissioning project understanding
